Golden Optimist Bicycle Recycling Program receives help from our community in the form of donated bikes and materials. Sometimes the donations do not match our shop needs or are more beneficial if the products are available to a wider audience. We have an eBay store where some of these products can be purchased. We do not offer them for sale at the shop, due to our limited shop space, but can deliver them to the shop for pickup. Proceeds go toward providing helmets and locks to people in need, parts, supplies, and shop operating costs.

Or goals with all donated parts are to first use them in the shop if possible, then provide them to a wider audience to help fund our operations and in the last case responsibly recycle materials.
